Failed presidential candidate Beto is in the news again. Not for something noteworthy, but more so for exposing what a slimy politician he is.
During the 2020 presidential debates, Beto had made it perfectly clear that after the El-Paso shooting, he was adamant about going after AR-15’s that are designed to shoot someone and create a hole so big that they bleed out. Well, if you’ve ever shot a 5.56mm, you’d know that the hole it makes is quite tiny. In fact, so tiny that when we were deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, one shot wasn’t usually enough to kill the enemy.
Sorry, had to take a moment to pause from the memories that brought back. Nothing bad or anything, I just find myself getting sexually aroused at the thought of the smell of gunpowder and the sounds those A-10’s made when they did strafing runs on those little bastards.
Anywho, Beto has apparently changed his tune. Now he claims he wants to PROTECT the 2A. The long speech he gave at the debates about talking to a mother who lost her 15-year-old to the shooting, which motivated him to go after the AR-15 and AK-47, well suddenly I guess they don’t matter anymore according to his statement.
