Trump Slams ‘Racist, Soros Backed DA’ Plotting His Arrest
45th President Donald Trump unleashed a new series of Truth Social posts aimed at Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is reportedly planning to arrest the former president this Tuesday.
Trump posted yesterday that he expects to be arrested on Tuesday, and soon after CNN and other mainstream media sources described how the Secret Service would deposit him at a courthouse to be processed this week.
Now, Trump is stepping up his attacks on Bragg, a left wing prosecutor who received financial support from international financier George Soros.
“I find it very hard to believe that a racist, Soros backed D.A., who lets murderers, rapists, and drug dealers walk free, and who presided over the biggest violent crime wave in the history of NYC, is using the power of his office to prosecute, indict, and prosecute a former President of the United States of America – for no crime!” He added, “The witch hunt never ends, but we will Make America Great again!’
In a second post, Trump denied the existence of any crime or wrongdoing, and again stressed that the action was politically motivated – potentially based on orders from the Biden White House.
“There was no ‘misdemeanor’ here either,” Trump wrote. “There was no crime, period. All other of the many Democrat law enforcement officers looked at it, took a pass.”
He explained, “So did Cy Vance, and so did Bragg. But then, much later, he changed his mind. Gee, I wonder why?”
“Prosecutorial Misconduct and Interference with an Election,” wrote Trump. “Investigate the investigators!”
Yesterday House Speaker Kevin McCarthy promised to do exactly this, and announced he is opening an investigation into Bragg and the Manhattan District Attorney’s office over their handling of the case.
“I am directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions,” McCarthy said yesterday, on the heels of news regarding the impending arrest.

McCarthy Orders Probe Into Manhattan DA Ahead of Trump Arrest
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has ordered a probe into the prosecutors reportedly planning to indict 45th President Donald Trump on Tuesday, describing the planned action as a “an outrageous abuse of power.”
Trump posted news of his impending arrest on Truth social on Saturday, informing supporters that he would be arrested on Tuesday. On the heels of this news, McCarthy announced plans to investigate those pursuing Trump legally.
“Here we go again,” wrote McCarthy, describing the planned arrest as “an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA” who is soft on violent crime in the district “as he pursues political vengeance” against Trump and his Republican voters.
“I am directing relevant committees to immediately investigate if federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions,” McCarthy declared.

Trump wrote that he would be arrested in a post on Truth Social on Saturday morning.
“Now illegal leaks from a corrupt & highly political Manhattan District Attorneys office,” wrote Trump, “indicate that, with no crime being able to be proven, & based on old & fully debunked fairy tale,” he is to be arrested.
“The far & away leading Republican candidate & former president of the United States of America, will be arrested on Tuesday of next week.”
Trump raised eyebrows earlier this year when he went against the populist grain of his supporters and endorsed McCarthy, a previously establishment-leaning Republican from California, for Speaker of the House.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a fierce Trump ally and surrogate for his agenda in Congress, seemed to indicate at the time that McCarthy’s promise to release hours of January 6 security videos to the public, alongside a possible impeachment of Joe Biden, ultimately won her support.
Elsewhere, Greene has suggested that McCarthy’s personal convictions changed after witnessing what Republicans term the Biden administration’s political persecution of Trump supporters who attended the mostly peaceful protests in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021.

Reporter to Disgraced Lightfoot: ‘Pack Your Suitcase & Get The Hell Out’
A reporter who was once punitively punished by outgoing Chicago Gov. Lori Lightfoot was given the opportunity to confront the disgraced Democrat during one of her final Chicago City Council meetings.
“You did the one thing I thought could never happen,” said reporter William J. Kelly. “As somebody who was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, I never thought in my life that I would ever see the city of Chicago brought down so low.”
The reporter, who also noted that Lightfoot “shut down the businesses,” had his media credentials stripped by Lightfoot in 2022, after Media Right News reports he dared to ask “hard-hitting questions about the crime in Chicago.”
He then thundered, “I hope that after today’s city council meeting, you will pack your suitcase and get the hell out of my city.”

Kelly apparently only learned he would be one of only five city residents allowed to speak to Lightfoot moments before the event, describing it as the “luck of the Irish” while speaking to Fox News.
“I applied for the public comment section right before the meeting,” said Kelly, “it’s a lottery.” “Just the luck of the Irish, St. Patrick’s Day, I was one of the five!”
The reporter sued Lightfoot last year after his press credentials were revoked following hard questions. Lightfoot claimed that Kelly bumped into one of her security guards, making him a threat and, thus, unable to be accredited as a member of the media.
The exchange between Kelly and Lightfoot that preceded the revocation of his media credentials received high media attention last year, and Kelly believes his reporting hurt Lightfoot’s failed reelection campaign.
In that clip, Kelly fumed at Lightfoot, “How can you even possibly consider running for reelection… after all the harm you’ve caused?”

Mitch McConnell, 81, Now in Rehab After Fall at DC Hotel
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell left the hospital earlier this week, and is now receiving treatment at a Washington, D.C. rehab facility, after falling at a private dinner at Trump’s old hotel.
McConnell’s office initially shared little about the accident, but later confirmed the 81-year-old suffered a concussion. Now, they have added that McConnell suffered a “minor rib fracture” from the fall at the Waldorf Astoria.
“Leader McConnell’s concussion recovery is proceeding well and the Leader was discharged from the hospital today,” said McConnell spokesman David Popp, according to Headline USA. “At the advice of his physician, the next step will be a period of physical therapy at an inpatient rehabilitation facility before he returns home.”
Popp did not reveal how long the 80-year-old – long considered the most powerful Republican in the Senate – would remain in the rehab facility.
Though the specifics of McConnell’s condition have not been released, doctors warn that elderly people can take much longer to recover from a concussion.

Around 25% of elderly people report dizziness or feeling unsteady after a concussion, according to Des Moines University, while others experience full-on vertigo.
The resource explains that a physical therapist could be helpful for an elderly person, both to aid in recovery from a fall, and to exercise certain muscle groups to help the elderly patient avoid future falls in an “individualized treatment program.”
With an average age of 64.3 years in the U.S. Senate, McConnell was not the only legislator to be hospitalized when his fall was announced last week.
At press time, 53-year-old Sen. John Fetterman remains in his fourth consecutive week of hospitalization due to “severe depression,” and just prior to McConnell’s fall, 89-year-old Diane Feinstein was briefly hospitalized after reportedly contracting shingles.
McConnell’s health has long been a topic of discussion in political circles, especially among his critics.
In 2020, McConnell was spotted in public sporting hands that were severely bruised, and dotted with what appear to be bandaids. Dermatologists attributed the bruises to his advanced age.

Breaking: Russian Jet Downs US Military Aircraft
Today a U.S. military aircraft was downed by a Russian jet in international airspace over the Black Sea.
A Russian fighter jet intercepted a U.S. Air Force drone over the Black Sea on Tuesday, according to U.S. officials who decried the environmental impact of the incident.
Two Russian Su-27 fighters pursued an American MQ-9 Reaper, an unmanned surveillance drone, then flew in front of the aircraft multiple times and dumped fuel on it. One of the jets then damaged the drone’s propeller, forcing the Air Force to bring the aircraft down “in international waters,” likely destroying the craft.
In a statement, the United States slammed the Russian pilots for acting “in a reckless, environmentally unsound, and unprofessional manner” and accused the Russian pilots of demonstrating “a lack of competence in addition to being unsafe and unprofessional.”

White House National Security Spokesman John Kirby said the incident was “not uncommon” but highlighted the apparent escalation from Russia.
“It is not uncommon for there to be intercepts by Russian aircraft of U.S. aircraft over the Black Sea,” said Kirby, according to The Hill. He explained, “There have been, even in just recent weeks, there have been other intercepts. But this one obviously is noteworthy because of how unsafe and unprofessional it was … in causing the downing of one of our aircraft.”
Later, Kirby again stressed that the interception was “not uncommon,” and emphasized that the American aircraft “was operating in international airspace over international waters and posed a threat to nobody.”
Foreign analysts have speculated that the event may represent a Russian attempt to gauge America’s commitment to aiding Ukraine by flying aircraft over the Black Sea.
Gonzalo Lira, a foreign journalist currently living in Ukraine, described the Russian actions as “a message – and a test.”
“They brought down this American surveillance drone, and they’re going to see how the US reacts,” wrote Lira. “Will the US go to war over a drone? Probably not. So [Russia] will start downing US Black Sea drones regularly.”

The United States has led the West in sending billions of dollars worth of aid, weapons, and money to Ukraine since Russia invaded the country last year.
Russia claims the invasion, which it still terms a “special military operation,” was warranted due to the threat of Ukrainian state violence against ethnic Russians living in the disputed Donbass region of the country. Ukraine and its allies, meanwhile, maintain that the invasion was unprovoked.

Ex-Clinton Advisor Apologizes To Conservatives For Believing Jan 6 Lies
Former Clinton advisor Naomi Wolf issued a formal apology to conservatives following the broadcast of never-before-seen January 6 footage by Tucker Carlson.
Wolf, a feminist journalist and Covid-19 skeptic who was once praised by Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan around the same time she helped President Bill Clinton reach female voters during his 1996 reelection campaign, has repudiated the left wing narrative of January 6 in an open apology to conservatives published via Substack.
“I was duped,” wrote Wolf, and “as a result I made mistakes in judgement,” which “hurt millions of other people” in “existential ways.”
She summarized, “I owe you a full-throated apology. I believed a farrago of lies. And, as a result of these lies, and my credulity — and the credulity of people similarly situated to me – many conservatives’ reputations are being tarnished, on false bases.”

Then, Wolf directly credited the footage aired by Carlson – which showed Capitol police officers appear to peacefully escort the so-called QAnon Shaman through the haoldlls of Congress – and summarized how the video disproved the left’s claims about January 6, 2021:
There is no way for anyone thoughtful, even if he or she is a lifelong Democrat, not to notice that Sen Chuck Schumer did not say to the world that the footage that Mr Carlson aired was not real. Rather, he warned that it was “shameful” for Fox to allow us to see it. The Guardian characterized Mr Carlson’s and Fox News’ sin, weirdly, as “Over-Use” of Jan 6 footage. Isn’t the press supposed to want full transparency for all public interest events? How can you “over-use” real footage of events of national relevance?
Wolf concluded, “Peaceful Republicans and conservatives as a whole have been demonized by the story told by Democrats in leadership of what happened that day,” meaning “half of the country has been tarred by association, and is now in many quarters presumed to consist of chaotic berserkers, anti-democratic rabble, and violent upstarts, whose sole goal is the murder of our democracy.”
“Republicans, conservatives, I am sorry.” She added, “I am sorry the nation was damaged by so much untruth issued by those with whom I identified at the time.”
“I am sorry I believed so much nonsense.”
Wolf was once considered red meat for conservative when she admitted to fundamentally misrepresenting Victorian England’s supposed criminalization of homosexuality after a disastrous radio interview.
More recently, fact checkers have repeatedly accused Wolf of spreading false information about Covid-19.

Pence Claims Trump ‘Endangered His Family,’ Believes He’s ‘Accountable’ For Jan 6
Former vice president Mike Pence claimed 45th President Donald Trump, his former boss, put his family in danger and will ultimately be held “accountable” for the mostly peaceful demonstrations on January 6, 2021, in Washington, D.C.
Pence made the statements during Saturday night’s Gridiron Dinner, an annual event in Washington, D.C. that is generally attended by politicians and the journalists who cover them. The Gridiron Club purports itself to be among “the oldest and most prestigious journalistic organizations” in the country.
He began by asserting that “President Trump was wrong” about the 2020 election, reported the Associated Press, and added that Trump was wrong about Pence’s ability to return electors to the states with a request to investigate credible claims of widespread voter fraud.
He continued, claiming he “had no right to overturn the election,” despite the fact that the legal requests made for that day did not necessitate such action.

Then Pence claimed Trump’s “reckless words endangered my family and everyone at the Capitol that day,” and asserted that “history will hold Donald Trump accountable.”
Later, Pence expanded his ire to include Tucker Carlson, his team at Fox News, and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
Discussing Carlson’s series exposing Capitol police escort Jacob Chansley – the QAnon Shaman – through the complex, Pence asserted, “It was not, as some would have you believe, tourists visiting the Capitol.”
“Tourists don’t injure 140 police officers by sightseeing,” Pence scoffed. “Tourists don’t break down doors to get to the speaker of the House.” He added that “it mocks decency” to portray the events of that day as peaceful.
Predictably, many conservatives reacted to Pence’s statements with outrage, confusion, and disgust.

Some, including American Greatness reporter Julie Kelly, who has closely followed the January 6 beat for over two years, suggested Pence shares more blame for the day’s unrest than Trump.

James O’Keefe Confronts NYT Reporter Over Jan 6 In First Viral Video Since Project Veritas Ouster
Investigative reporter James O’Keefe went viral with his first independent release since losing his position at Project Veritas, the undercover investigative journalism outlet he founded.
O’Keefe confronted New York Times reporter Matthew Rosenberg over previously recorded instances in which he claimed that “they [media] were making too big of a deal [of January 6, 2021]” and claiming it was “an organized thing that it wasn’t.”
“There were a ton of FBI informants who attacked the Capitol,” Rosenberg admitted while being secretly recorded. “The left’s overreaction in some places were so over the top,” he added. Rosenberg also admitted that he and other members of the media thought the day was amusing and lighthearted.
The video has since gone viral, with more than 2.4 million views at press time, and features O’Keefe ask the mainstream media journalist to speak on the record about his claims that seem to contradict the newspaper.

Buoyed by the success of the video, O’Keefe appears to now be recruiting for his next media venture.

VIDEO: QAnon Shaman Allies Release His Post-Jan 6 Interview With FBI
Jacob Angeli Chansley, the man who went viral after wearing horns into the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and more recently became a cause célèbre on the right due to new video released by Tucker Carlson, spoke with the FBI about his actions as early as January 7, according to new video posted online by his allies.
In the video, shot in a moving vehicle, Chansley uses a smartphone to contact the FBI, and makes several remarks about his character during the call.
“Hi, yeah, my name is Jake,” Chansley began. “The reason for the call is because I heard y’all are looking for me, I heard y’all are trying to get information on me. I’m the dude that was in the horns in the Capitol building, so I just thought I’d call you guys, because I heard you guys were looking for information on me or all that stuff, so I thought I’d call and nip it in the bud.”
The person who answered the phone for the FBI seems to inquire about Chansley’s current location, to which he replies that “we’re kind of on the road” and he’s not able to give an exact location.

Under further questioning, likely about the purpose of his call, Chansley explains that he’s heard rumors about being wanted by federal police and wanted to resolve any outstanding issues.
“Apparently, people been telling me all over the Internet, that DCPD said I am a, wanted as a ‘person of interest’ for ‘unlawful entry of the Senate,’” said Chansley. “I’ve been told by more than one person that the FBI is looking for me.”
He explained, “I’m not the type of guy that is going to, like, run and hide, I don’t do that. I don’t believe in that. I am a bold man, I believe in truth, I believe in my faith in God and country, and so I’m calling to see what you all would like to talk about, what kind of information y’all are looking for.”
At this point the person on the other end of the phone appears to question Chansley about legal issues in Washington, D.C., to which Chansley acknowledges, “God love DCPD, but to me the FBI is a little bit bigger of a fish than DCPD, so I figured I’d call you guys first. ”
Chansley then recorded a number, and the video ends.
Sources tell Valiant News that this is the first of several videos that will be released online in the immediate aftermath of Tucker Carlson broadcasting never before seen video of D.C. Capitol police escorting Chansley through the U.S. Capitol.
The new video reveals that Capitol police appeared to act as tour guides for Chansley, attempting to open and unlock doors that were closed. However, Capitol police claim that their behavior was a failed attempt to “deescalate” the situation.
Chansley was one of the first high profile convictions from January 6. He took a plea deal that resulted in around a four year prison sentence, and his then-lawyer fa him as stupid or mentally challenged.
